Hello everyone, I am having some serious problems with XUpdate in the API. I carry out a XUpdate (shown below) and there are no exceptions been thrown and a simple System.out after the XUpdateQueryService.update() service gets printed out also, HOWEVER, the Database in NOT uploaded!!!
When you call the update() method on a collection, does your document node change by any chance to some default one.. I have seen many documentations on XUpdate, and have tried a number of them with Xindice, but they don't seem to be working. If my record was: <person> <name>Gul Akbar</name> <gender>Male</gender> </person> and wanted to rename the 'Gul Akbar' to say 'Gulll', how can this be achieved through Xindice's XUpdateQueryService.update().
