Eclipse usage?

Hi,
        I noticed that the cvs tree now has a xml-xindice/tools/eclipse
directory.  I downloaded Eclipse 2.1 from eclipse.org, but I'm not familiar
with it.  How do I "open" the eclipse project for xindice?
