Hi Kimbro,
Thank you for the reply... u r right i was workin at the wrong place. I
did what Jane Riese reply to the error and it works for me, so thank u
Jane Riese too! ^.^
I still had a point to clear. When the exception is thrown, i repeatedly
sees the word "Catalina", i realised there's a jar file call
"Catalina.jar". Thought that was the problem and i added it to the
classpath. One thing i realised too was "Catalina.jar" was found in the
server/lib rather than the common/lib. Why does "catalina" keeps
appearing in the exception, but it was missing the xalan.jar?
Catalina was the name used for the servlet container that became Tomcat 4.
0, so you're seeing exceptions from the servlet engine.
If anyone could give me a pointer or two, it will be most welcomed too. ^

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me what exactly is this command?
Copy Addressbook.war %TOMCAT_HOME%\webapps
From what it seems, its trying to copy the addresssbook example to the
Tomcat webapps folder. The webapps folder is there but, when i did the
above command in Xindice, the errors are:
C:\Xindice>copy addressbook %TOMCAT_HOME%\webapps
The system cannot find the file specified.
C:\Xindice\bin>copy Addressbook.war %TOMCAT_HOME%\webapps
The system cannot find the file specified.
Please look at your directory structure and see if the files are where
you
expect them to be. My guess is you're just working in the wrong place.
In the first place, i built the example using "ant examples" and the
build was successful. Whereas if i used the "%XINDICE_HOME%\bin\ant" i
get a build failed, does that mean that i had not build the
Addressbook.war?
Probably not. It should be in the java\examples\addressbook directory.
Any form of help is most appreciated. ^.^ Thank u all.
Best Regards,
CK ^.^
