Xindice 1.0 release candidate 2 is available for download from http://xml. apache.org/xindice.
Overall changes are minor, and just consist of bug fixes. This release fixes the index corrupted bug that some people were seeing and has a few fixes to make it a little easier to embed the database in another application.
We also added a fix for some encoding issues to help languages like Italian. Unfortunately, the server still isn't very good at handling languages that don't use latin characters. Resolving this is one of the high priority items for Xindice 1.1.
