Hi.

There has been some talk about xindice not working properly with jdk1.4
yet. Therefore users are being adviced to use jdk1.3.
I don't know if this is what is causing you the trouble, but try to make
%JAVA_HOME% point to an installation of jdk1.3
Also: Make sure there is a reference to jdk1.3/bin in your path before
your reference to jdk1.4/bin.

Maybe it will solve your problem
