I tried to retreive the value from address2.xml as given in the xincidice reference material.
i stored the address2.xml doc in ./db/ash i used xindice xpath_query -c /db/ash -q /person/fname=['john'] i even tried to use the following line in address2.xml
<person id="1"> <fname>... .... </person> then i used the query xindice xpath_query -c /db/ash -q /[EMAIL PROTECTED]"1"] i couldnt fine any result, not even errors...
plsease anyone help me with this... if possible send me the query to resolve this.

Retrieved values are printed. If you didn't get an error and you didn't get a response, then your query did not find any data.
Try posting your document and your query. Someone can usually point out how to get what you want.
