* is the standard CORBA implementation *really* a memory hog and cause xindice to slow down drastically?
It was a memory hog for us and xindice was rendered unusable because of it. It looks like from the posts I've seen that this is particular to Windows platforms running Xindice with an application server (like Tomcat). We use Win2K and Tomcat. * does the XML-RPC interface *really* speed up xindice and stop the 'out of memory' errors? Using the XML-RPC interface fixed all of our xindice woes but again, I can't speak for all cases since we've tested on one particular platform with one particular implementation. good luck! catherine -----Original Message----- From: Jayaram Narayana [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, July 31, 2002 1:20 AM To: 'Xindice Users Group' Subject: Xindice Performace hi guys! here's a simple, straightforward question: * is the standard CORBA implementation *really* a memory hog and cause xindice to slow down drastically? * does the XML-RPC interface *really* speed up xindice and stop the 'out of memory' errors? thanks, -nani x1578 @hp -- Remember...
