What does your classpath contain? Can you post the contents of your
classpath?

hi nohara. thanks for your suggestions. i tried replacing that line
in /bin/lcp.bat, but it had no effect. i also tried removing the part
of the CLASSPATH that had spaces in it. i set the CLASSPATH to
C:/Xindice/java/lib/xindice.jar;.
but it didn't help. any other ideas?
