Does this mean that Xindice server is not meant to be deployed on Tomcat no more??
I'm having a hard time making it work on Tomcat, plus having the ports hardwired to some other is going to make things worse!
If no host and port information is supplied the commandline client (actually the xml-rpc driver) defaults to using the 127.0.0.1:8888. This can be overridden on the command line (though I must admit I haven't checked this works in the current build, but I will today).
