I have the following versions available to me
1.1b1 1.1b2 1.1b-20030627 1.1b-cvs-latest
I got 1.1b2 and 1.1b-20030627 from http://cvs.apache.org/dist/xindice I don't know if they're milestone releases or not.
If anyone could tell me which they think is the most stable, it would be great.
