OK, I reviewed the jakarta web pages and reviewed LOGGER and LOGLEVEL variables used by xindice scripts. The problem I'm facing is that I'm using xindice in EMBEDDED mode. I can quite figure out how to configure the debug/logging output with embedded xindice. (Vadim, thanks for the assistance!)
