<grin/> ... I have now discovered the basis of why Murray and I were taking very different viewpoints.
If you check the URL at http://xml.apache.org/mail/xindice-users/200402 and scroll (quite a long way) down to Murray's post and my reply you will see that what Murray sent on line 3 wasn't what I received on line 3.
So, if I had seen Murray's view of what was on his line 3 I would, I think, have taken his viewpoint and hopefully vice versa. :)
