I would like to know also about the XML:DB Initiative. I follow the link provided in XIndice 's Developer Guide in Apache page and I noticed that the last update happened in 2003. The Initiative closed his doors. If not, why there isn't any post for a so long time?
Yes as you noticed there were no updates on [1] since 2003. There were some code changes in 2004 [2].
