Xerces, Xalan compatibility with the current version. Since the same spec level compliance is present, that is Xerces and Xalan in their respective XML areas are backward compatible shouldn't the newer versions work or have there been spefic problems uncovered. I can see that it is released with 2.5.2 Xalan, 2.6 Xerces and > 1.2.01 xml-commons. Does it work with Xalan 2.7 and Xerces 2.7.1? The latest version (not yet released) uses Xalan 2.7.0 and Xerces 2.9.0. Natalia
