Olle, The command tool was not specifically written to be used with shell commands and it shows - there are extra formatting and output. I agree with you that extra output is inconvenient. Some of it can be easily changed, but, unfortunately, that particular string does not come from Xindice, but rather from one of the libraries (xmldb-api).
Now, your options are: 1. Update xmldb-api library. The most recent code for it had the extra line removed. The library is available on sourceforge [1], it has instructions for checking out the code. 2.
