[Xlog-discussion] Contest serial numbers

I used XLog for the first time in a local ZL 80M CW contest. It worked 
brilliantly with my SDR and with the luxury of automated logging it was 
a nice leisurely pace. The sent exchange was 5nn/27/05 being my NZART 
branch number and my power out which I set up in F3 edit box and was 
transmitted correctly but when I pressed enter to record the qso, the 
exchange was entered as a serial number i.e. 5nn001, 5nn002 etc. This is 
useful for keeping a tally although the qso number will do that anyway 
if you open a new log for each contest and my request is for the value 
in F3 field to be recorded in the RST field rather than the serial. 
Maybe a checkbox to optionally store F3 or serial will satisfy 
requirements for those who want a forced serial.
