Bounced email.

I set up xmail on a linux server that we have connected directly to the
internet. I can send mail out from the server just fine. When email comes
back in, however, the server bounces it - returning it to the person that
sent the message with a 550, telling them that the user is not known to the
server. I have already set up aliases for the account. Ideas? Questions?
Suggestions? Anything is welcome.
