It's quite simple.
Right now I think You've everything kept inside Your executable, and this makes
the installer version dependent.
Now the format of xmail-?.??.win32bin.zip should be quite constant and should
be easy for You to HTTP download the file and get files from the zip instead of
getting then from the installer.
The main page should contain a file named
http://www.xmailserver.org/filelist.txt and You should be able to get the
latest version by looking up this file.
What You need is a http downloader ( something like a wrapper to wininet.dll )
and an unzipper DLL or COM.
