I've had a lot of guys asking me for the ability of XMail to do message rewriting, AV scanning, etc... My answer always was "search for 'filter' inside the doc" but, actually, the documentation is wrong and does not state that the filter may return 100 and modify the message :( The filter MUST : 1) does not break the message structure ( see doc ) 2) always terminate lines with <CR><LF> This feature may be really powerful in building content filters, AV scanning and message rewriting. Also using the local mail delivery feature ( "/spool/local" ) notification message could be built in response of exceptional conditions. - Davide
