Short delay processing messages..

Hi,

When a new message arrives for a local user, there is a delay of appr. 6-
10 seconds before the message is actually delivered to the mailbox of the 
user. Is this something we can change in the configuration?

This happens also in version 0.68 as well as 0.67.

Any suggestions?
