Hi,
it's me again with my poor dial-up (NOT dial-on-demand) connection to the
Internet. I set up XMail to route outgoing mail through the SMTP server of
my ISP with DefaultSMTPGateways option in server.tab and everything is just
fine when connected to the Internet: messages are sent almost immediatly.
Unfortunately, if a client send a message when the connection is closed, it
seems like the message disappear. I'd have expected the message to be
transparently spooled at the local XMail server and the ISP'SMTP server
periodically called until mail exchange is possible. What am I doing wrong?
