xmail .71 no log files

Hello,

I have been using Xmail for a while and find it to be a
great program. I just upgraded from .68 to .71 and as
soon as I upgraded, xmail no longer creates log files.
I even tried remaking the MAIL_ROOT directory
from scratch, but no luck... :(
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
