here's a quick and dirty thing i discovered when using the mailing list
feature....sorry for posting all this config, my problem can be described in
easy words but i want to make sure that there's no cfg error at my side...
account setup (without [tab] entries, they are present, though)
mailusers.tab:
"domaina.com" "infomailing" "encryptedpwd" 102 "infomailing" "M"
custdomains/domainb.com.tab:
"redirect" "domaina.com"
domains/domaina.com/infomailing/user.tab:
(all my user.tab files are the same btw. except the last 2 lines,
they are only present at list accounts)
"RealName" "non-disclosed"
"HomePage" "non-disclosed"
"Address" "non-disclosed"
"Telephone" "non-disclosed"
#"MaxMBSize" "10000"
"SmtpPerms" "MRVZ"
"ReceiveEnable" "1"
"PopEnable" "1"

"ListSender" "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
domains/domaina.com/infomailing/mlusers.tab:
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" "RW"
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" "R"
ok, now let's go:
if someone writes to [EMAIL PROTECTED] xmail respects the
permissions, and the presence of the user in mlusers.tab....
but: if someone writes to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (the aliased one),
xmail accepts the mail and just distributes it to all members of the mailing
list, even if the sender is not listed at all, let alone the permissions...
i dunno how the custdomains processing works, obviously it comes after a
mail is received. but my question is if there's some workaround for it....
