Hi, I have been watching the current conversation in regards an web
interface to xmail.

One thing has to be considered, as Davide said, multi OS!!

You seem to be quiet firm using Asp's and that is adorable.
The problem with Asp's it the non existing standards and multiple ports
(different ports).

The suggestion made by someone to use PHP was the one and only thing what
lets people stick with open source
and reliability.

just admit it ASP is not up to it.
The reason is the execution of execs in the command line.
The other thing is POP3 is limited only to the get and list command to
messages inside the maildir or mailbox.
The next thing is by using PHP you can easily do away with VB, Java and
kinds which will make it more secure to run
even under windows.

I guess you have to reconsider the use of ASP's.
Just in case you change your mind, I'm willing to give you some help (P.S.
I'm crep on ASP).

Good luck
Torsten
