I have not
administered a mail server before but have been very impressed with xmail's
performance on our linux server. However over the weekend it looks like somebody
used our server to mailshot a few hundred thousand emails. I'm showing my
ignorance here - and am probably off topic - but I wondered if I could get
advice on what people would say were the most appropriate security measures to
use with xmail. At the moment all I have done is put an ip range in the
smtprelay.tab that covers only our servers.
