Can anyone recommend Xmail configurations that might optimize its use in
a moderately loaded POP server? I'm curious if I should be tweaking the
Thread Counts for the various services (POP, SMTP, etc.)
I've got about 50 domains to handle, but each only has one or two user
accounts, and many are just redirected aliases. But often users
auto-check their POP boxes every few minutes.
I'm also getting a daily Event Viewer error proclaiming:
Source: Xmail
....LMAIL [01] error
["Invalid spool file"];
C:\xmail\spool\local\[EMAIL PROTECTED]
The "C:\xmail\spool\" directory does not exist; it's
"C:\xmail\mailroot\spool\". I did a text search through every file under
"C:\xmail\" for [xmail\spool] and came up empty. I even went through the
w2k registry and found nothing.
Xmail 1.2, Win32, default binaries, smooth running so far!
