I unfortunately can't afford to test on such a scale as my ISP charges me AU$0.18 per MB for everything over 3GB per month :-( The joys of living in a small (population) country (Australia) - I have no better broadband alternative. (see http://www.bigpond.com/broadband/adsl/pricing.asp for a look at our pricing - this is the cheapest ADSL available here, cause all the rest start charging per MB after 1GB)
And unfortunately the other night XMail chewed up a large chunk of that (not really it's fault) when an email was failing to be sent. It keep retrying and each try took up approx 3MB (it was a large email), because I think the destination server was letting XMail start the transfer then failing it at the end. So I've now reduced the retires from the default of 32 to 8, and increased the rety time from 8mins to 30mins (and the ratio from 16 to 2).
