hi,

microsoft exchange servers provide a way that pop3-clients don't have to
send their password in plain-text over net net - called SPA.

outlook and outlook express are supporting SPA and i guess many users use
outlook, so it would be great if there were support in XMail for SPA.

I searched the internet/google for information/specifications about SPA, but
didn't find anything :-(.

Does someone know how SPA works? If so, Davide, it would be a nice feature
:-).

PS: i guess there is another not-MS-protocol for pop3-authentication, but it
is not supported by outlook express ...

ok, thats it, greets soenke.
