Is anyone able to explain this xmail behavior? I have a new installation of
xmail. Upon attempting to connect to my server's port 25, I would get a
connection refused message. So I killed the sendmail (which comes with the
RedHat distribution) process and restarted xmail. Same symptom. So I decided
to enable logging by setting XMAIL_CMD_LINE="-pl -Mr 24" in
/etc/init.d/xmail and stopping and starting xmail again. This time the xmail
SMTP server started working! changing the XMAIL_CMD_LINE parameter back to
"" stops the SMTP service every time. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Hamid.
