I disabled all firewall rules with ipchains, but still can't send out messages. As far as I can tell, there are no blocks on port 53.
What does SmartDNSHost in server.tab do? One thing I was wondering about, is when I built xmail, the standard sendmail daemon was running. Would this cause a SMTP failure? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Davide Libenzi Sent: Monday, June 17, 2002 2:54 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [xmail] Re: SMTP Bounceback Error On Mon, 17 Jun 2002, Hamid Majidy wrote: > > If I can issue a dig to my nameserver and get a valid response, doesn't this > test validate DNS configuration?
