Oops .. I have been playing with courier IMAP server for the past 3 hours ( since you posted the reply ), But could not figure out how to configure the authentication module for Courier IMAP. I think I am failing to tell courier IMAP to make the authentication against the mailusers.tab file of Xmail.
So, can u take a little bit of time in explaining me the process of setting up C'r IMAP with Xmail in three or four Steps. Actually I am thinking of shifting a mailserver for some 700+ domains running Qmail+Vmailmgr+CourierIMAP+Squirrelmail on slackware to an Xmail+CourierIMAP+Squirrelmail on OpenBSD. Yeah, :-) u guessed it right, I need IMAP access just for use with Squirrelmail.
