Hi, everyone,
I successfully run Xmail on Linux. I can use CtrlClnt to configure XMail from another
PC which is running Windows and I can confiure it from Linux itself. But I can't use
it to send or receive emails. From the client(MS Outlook) running on Windows in
another PC or pine on Linux itself, when I try to send or receive email the server is
simply not able to be connected. Any body have any idear about possible reasons? In
addition, I am using all the configure files(server.tab , mailusers.tab etc. ) copied
from Windows which were tested to be correct.

PS: concerning the "involved SMTP, POP3, FINGER" thing mentioned in item 7 in part7 of
xmail readme.txt, I can't find any file or directory called inetd.conf in /etc. Does
that mean there is no SMTP, POP3 or FINGER service in my Linux? I guess this may be
the main reason of the problem.

Thank you!

Rui
