Hi Harald,
just went downloading and installing v.0.90 on my XMail enabled NT box, but I am having trouble getting the query button to score. The trace output I am getting is identically to what Aram Tutunciyan was reporting at the XMail Forum the other day: http://home.domaindlx.com/xmail/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=214 >Traceback (most recent call last): > File "<string>", line 151, in OnClickToolbar > File "<string>", line 280, in query_queue > File "<string>", line 329, in update_status > File "../lib\xmaillib.py", line 111, in status > File "C:\usr\python\Lib\site-packages\win32\lib\win32serviceutil.py", line 393, in >QueryServiceStatus > File "C:\usr\python\Lib\site-packages\win32\lib\win32serviceutil.py", line 61, in >SmartOpenService >pywintypes.api_error: (1060, 'OpenService', 'The specified service does not exist as >an installed service.') Any clues to what the problem is, other than the registry part which I am 100% sure is correct in my case. (Have had XMail up as a service since 0.58) REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GNU\XMail] "MAIL_ROOT"="E:\\mailroot" "MAIL_CMD_LINE"="-Cp xxxxx -Ct 60 -Sl -Ql -Cl -Sr 25 -St 10 -Ph -Pt 15 -Pw 10 -Qt 1200 -Qr 15 -Yt 5 -Yi 600" my specs: Win NT 4 sp6a Xmail 1.9 Service name/s : xmail / "XMail Server" ctrlserver listening on non-default port : xxxxx thanx, Thomas. ________________________________S_a_l_t_s_t_o_r_m____ - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
