OK chaps I think I got it.

Let's make things plain and simple.
Here is a simple question :

Once you setup an xmail box :

.. How can you make it "talk" to the ISP pop3 box in order
for xmail to download any pending messages sitting on the
ISPs' pop3 box at that specific time ?

to ask the same thing differently :

.. How can you make the xmail box "talk" to the ISP pop3
box in order to download messages ?

Baby steps cause I read the docs a thousand times and :
.. either I am missing something and doing it wrong, or
.. it cannot be done
