Are the messages being returned to sender? If you don't know then try
sending a message from somewhere else to your server and see what
happens. If you don't have another account somewhere go to hotmail.com
and get one and use it to test. How did you add the domains to your
xmail server? How did you add user accounts? Did you use an Admin
utility that's listed on the xmail homepage? Did you try and enable any
security of any kind? smtprelay, smtpauth anything? Can you telnet to
your server's address at port 25? Can you do it from somewhere else
(outside of your lan) also? 

That's a start.
