I've been dealing with this problem for a couple of days now, so I think
it's time to ask for help now =)
This is the situation:
I have a website on the server where I want some users to be able to send
emails with their
own emailaddresses as the sender. Because of this, I have set the
smtprelay.tab to contain
the following line:
"212.247.199.0" "255.255.255.0"
When I send an email thru the webinterface, the message get frozen and
not sent to
recipent.
The SLOG shows:
ErrCode = -41
ErrString = Bad server response
ErrInfo = 571 <">: Helo command rejected: Invalid name
SMAIL SMTP-Send MX = "mail.swede.com." SMTP = "ebutik.nu" From =
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" To
= "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" Failed !
SMTP-Error = "571 <">: Helo command rejected: Invalid name"
The mailaccount [EMAIL PROTECTED] is NOT hosted on the server and I want
_any_ emailaddress
to be able to be the sender when sent _from_ the local server, as in this
case = thru the
webinterface on the server. ebutik.nu IS hosted on the local server...
In the server.tab file, I have:
"HeloDomain" ""
Should this be set to anything? I am hosting a few mail domains w/
accounts on the server.
