Gzip the /var/MailRoot directory and FTP it onto the other machine Dont worry about that, i've done that before... I think.. but then again I thought I started doing remote backups AFTER the server crashed last time. Either way I remember transfering XMail and the entire maildir with all the settings.
My point is, what do I have to do so tomorrow I change the DNS and then tell the old server to forward everything to the temporary server? -----Mensaje original----- De: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] nombre de Davide Libenzi Enviado el: Tuesday, March 11, 2003 10:16 PM Para: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Asunto: [xmail] Re: Forward All Mail On Tue, 11 Mar 2003, Andrew Joakimsen wrote: > > No, I will Gzip + FTP them, but the messages that arrive while the DNS is > not yet updated. gzip+ftp ? :) - Davide - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
