Sounds more like a problem with the relay test than with your server. The relay test is broken, because it assumes that receiving a 250 means the mail is delivered. You must still check to see that the mail is or is not delivered before determining that there is, in fact, an open relay. For instance, I tested my mail server against that relay test, attempting to send mail to one of my yahoo accounts through my mail server from their relay tester. I also have a * alias defined in my domain. The mail was accepted by my mail server, but was not delivered to my yahoo account - instead, it ended up in the mailbox of the account on my local server with the * alias. In other words, xmail delivered the mail to the local account, it did not relay it. Hence, xmail is not an open relay, contrary to what the test says. - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
