Davide,

I have had this few times now.
The users are using Outlook 2000 and their contact has a space after the
address.
When they send to the contact, the mail bounces as undeliverable.

err -40
Invalid server address

excerpt from bounce:
Mail From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Rcpt To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >
Server: <destination.com > [destination.com ]

So far I have been telling them to fix their address book contact.

However...
I'm sure that there are people all over the world doing this sort of dumb
thing.
What do you think about adding a little bit of address validation before
attempting to send.
I am only looking at removing spaces from an email address between the < >,
since no address should have spaces.
Not saying MS Exchange is anything to go by, but sending to a contact that
has a trailing space using exchange, does get through, and checking the
received email, the trailing space is not there.

Your thoughts?

Rob :-)
