A mini faq to every network admin about zones changes Changing something in a zone need a minimum of prepare to be as fast as possible ...
Say current zone ttl is 7 days First, before any changes to the zone, and minimum 7 days (old ttl) = before real changes, change only the ttl of the zone to a very temporary short period (say 1 hour) Wait a minimum of 'old ttl' days before doing any others dns to refresh = they cache make your changes except the zone ttl wait a minimum of 'temporary ttl' (i suggest 2 times the temp ttl) (to 'replicate' the 'real' changes) then finaly reset the zone ttl to a normal value final zone will be visible 'old ttl' + 'temp ttl' anywhere the world = (except for some strange proxies or dns or soft that not allway take in account = the zones ttls, or forced by some isp's admins to reduce dns traffic ... = BAD BOYS ...)
