Hello,

I have a problem with XMail server. My XMail server seems not to try to send
messages to secondary (or further) MX while primary MX is down.

For example I have in DNScache:

3600
10:mailserver1.domain.com.,20:mailserver2.domain.com.

When I send a message to domain.com but mailserver1.domain.com is down
I receive response from XMail:

Mail From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Rcpt To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Server: <mailserver1.domain.com> [xx.xx.xx.xx]

[<02>] The reason of the delivery failure was:

417 Temporary delivery error

And afterwards (when it reaches max number of attempts):

The maximum number of delivery attempts has been reached.

So my question is why XMail server does not try to connect to mailserver2.domain.com to
send the message? I am sure that mailserver2.domain.com is alive, I
can telnet it. What is wrong in my configuration?

Regards,

---
Michal
