It seems to be a problem on the host's side with their local mail delivery. It's maybe not a fault but at least it is something to think about:
there are 4 smtp servers involved between two companies that have (more or less permanent) dial-up access and fetch their mail by pop3. Assume the following client -> local smtp (xmail)-> hosted smtp/multidrop (IMail) -> hosted smtp/multidrop (IMail) -> local smtp (xmail) -> client the problem seems to be the 'hosted smtp/multidrop' that are both hosted by the same company. The receiving server detects that the mail should be delivered locally and therefore multiplies them into the mailboxes. Because there are no separate mailboxes, each mail is put into the multidrop. That's where it comes from. If someone is thinking about implementing a multidrop into xmail, he or she should assure that a mail is put into that account only once for all missing mailboxes and not once for each missing box. - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
