Did the administrator of the DNS server change the RRs
recently? I guess that is why XMail stopped working.

In fact, I am affraid you have found a bug on XMail
because I have sent a test message to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and XMail (on RedHat 9.0) has tried
(and it is still trying) to connect to
212.128.129.112.

I have read from the list that XMail implements its
own 'DNS resolver', for portability reasons. As your
DNS RRs look good to me, I believe XMail's DNS
resolver is not working properly (maybe because of the
combination of CNAME and MX records).
