I thought cmdaliases\domain1.com\.tab might work, but I just tested, it
doesn't.

This works:
Add to the bottom of mailroot\aliases.tab
"domain1.com"[tab]"*"[tab]"bob"

You 'CANNOT' edit this file while XMail is running because it is an indexed
file.

This will send ALL mail to bob.domain1.com that does not match a real user
or \cmdalias\ .tab file.

The reason to add it to the bottom is that you want other real addresses and
other aliasaes in domain1.com to get their mail. Be VERY CAREFULL, of the
CTRL interface (and therefore any admin application that uses it), it adds
new aliases to the bottom, so as you manage your system, the catch-all alias
will not be at the bottom forever.
*** Hey if this is indexed, then what I just wrote is BS, Davide can you
confirm ***
*** How does Xmail deal with multiple matches in the alias file. ***

Below *not tested* in combination with above.
If you want it to go to a user in a different domain (domain2.ca) then you
would setup a bob.tab file in the cmdaliases\domain.com folder with a
redirect to [EMAIL PROTECTED] statement in it. (see doco for syntax).

I'm not sure if an alias to a cmdalias, redirecting to a real user will
work. ** Davide, any comments **

If I got the direction wrong (domain2.ca -> domain1.com rather than
domain1.com -> domain2.ca), then just swap the names around.

Rob :)
