A good start would be to begin browsing the many links from xmail's 
homepage (http://www.xmailserver.org)

There are many setup utilities, FAQ's, and webmail solutions to chose from.

It's simply a matter of reading about the different options and picking 
out what you want to use.

All the documentation is there, it's just a matter of reading it.
