You're absolutely right that I don't know anything about your methods - my apologies. The proposed multi-line reject message appeared very similar to the error messages produced by the remote mail server in our incident, and the line "Your mail server's IP address has been found in the headers of spam received by this domain" on the page referenced by the error message led me to jump to conclusions. Thanks for sharing the details of your system - it's sounds like a pretty good system, and should have very little collateral damage on a system of your size.
