Hi,
Only in the sense that I edited the domains.tab file before I started XMail.
Jeff's guide didn't explicitly state that this was needed. I didn't see that
in the README file either, but it is entirely possible that I missed the
instruction if it was there. I did note that the MkUsers.cpp file had
implmented the code to create the domain subdirectory, whereas the code that
the CtrlClnt calls seems to assume that the domain already exists.
Like I said, I'm a complete newbie to this package and I may be missing
something obvious about the various command available to create a new domain
through the CtrlClnt app. Never the less, the Beginners Guide should have
identified this step, unless of course, I missed a step somewhere.
By the way, I really like what I see so far. I've been using VPOP3 on Windows
for several years, but was amazed that no one seemed to have an equivalent
product/project for Linux. I can't remember the Google search that led me to
this package, but I had just about given up hope and was starting to read the
sendmail documents.
Later,
