I think Mirco wants to take the local SMTP mail (from the MUA) and replace
the FROM persons name with the name configured in Xmail for the email
address.

This would in effect bypass what the user configured in the MUA.

Nice idea, but no.
A filter would probably do it.  Match it on sending user, extract the email
address, look it up via the ctrl protocol and rewrite the from: header with
the new name.

I haven't seen anyone else do this on the list.
