I have to admit, I like this idea as well :)

Subject: [xmail] Feature request - server.tab

Davide, I know there must be a good reason for having all the command line
switches, but could v2.x include the option to have them specified as
server.tab entries.

It would make it easier to follow (lets face it, so many emails are about
how to turn on logging) if it followed more like other linux progs that have
everything contained in files.

Example:
My Registry contains: (for the linux guys read: "I export these")

MAIL_ROOT=D:\\MailRoot
MAIL_CMD_LINE=-Yi 14400 -Pl -Sl -Ql -Fl -Cl -Ll -Yl

It would appear in server.tab as
================
MAIL_ROOT[TAB]"D:/MailRoot"
Psync-interval[TAB]"14400"
Pop3-logging[TAB]"1"
Smtp-logging[TAB]"1"
Smail-logging[TAB]"1"
Finger-logging[TAB]"1"
Ctrl-logging[TAB]"1"
Lmail-logging[TAB]"1"
Psync-logging[TAB]"1"
================

Even the debug switch should go in server.tab.
Maintain the command line so can over-ride the server.tab, but for normal
operations, rely on server.tab.

What do you think?

Rob :-)
