Content of validate.tab should be :
 
"d:\xscanner\xscanner.exe"[TAB]"d:\xscanner"[TAB]"@@FILE"[TAB]
"@@FROM"[TAB]"@@RCPT"[TAB]"6"[newline] 

Replace Retcode with the actual return code you want to send to xmail.

PS. I don't know why I have answered this so many times, perhaps the author
could make the doco a bit clearer on this point.  (I remember it threw me a
bit when I set it up.)
